Varenicline and neuropsychiatric reactions

In recent years concerns about neuropsychiatric adverse drug reactions associated with varenicline have been raised both in the UK and the US. In Europe warnings were issued by EMEA. A recent BMJ study using the GPRD database has cast some doubt on the strength of such an association. We recently performed an analysis of the utility of using spontaneous patient reports of suspected adverse reactions to varenicline left on a number of blogs. Recent website woes

Due to recent deliberate attacks on our wesbite there has been a lack of activity here. These issues appear to have been resolved now.

Pronouncing drug names and website problems

Recently this website has suffered a suspected attack leading to the website becoming temporarily unavailable due to a lack of bandwidth. We have therefore blocked a number of IP addresses and removed the Pronouncing Drug Names material from the site in order to maintain our web presence.
